First Episode Experience - Casshern Sins, Kuro Shitsuji, and Linebarrels of Iron

October 9th, 2008 Waffcake

Why, Casshern, why? What did I ever do to you? You’re one of the anime I was really looking forward to, so why would you crush all my hopes of Casshern Sins ever becoming successful? Read the rest of this entry »

First Episode Experience: Tales of the Abyss, and To Aru Majutsu no Index

October 8th, 2008 Waffcake

Wah, so much homework… I need to find more time to do these things. D: Anyway, with this post, I bring to you the wonders (or lack thereof) of Tales, Index, Kuro Shitsuji, and Linebarrels of Iron.

To kick it off, let’s start with Tales of the Abyss. It’s based on a roleplaying game (which I have yet to play), and it’s about a rich snob kid named Luke, who is gay with his servant, Guy is the heir to an unusally large sum of money, but is locked up in his mansion until he comes of age. If you can’t tell already, I’m going to be very skeptic with Tales of the Abyss. Read the rest of this entry »

First Episode Experience: Toradora!, Akaneiro ni Somarusaka, and Hyakko

October 5th, 2008 Waffcake

Remember how I said I wasn’t going to be watching this series? I lied. I just realized how big my lack of comedy romances just got. >_< Also, did I mention the style of Toradora? It attracts me, for some reason. Read the rest of this entry »

Natsume Yuujinchou 13 (Final) - Zomfg, I needs a second season.

October 3rd, 2008 Waffcake

Wow, over already? That went fast. The final episode of Natsume Yuujinchou was really peaceful, and it had a dreamy, hazy feel. They brought back tons of characters from previous episodes, and of course, they just HAD to use the classic firework ending, didn’t they? Read the rest of this entry »

Um… What?

October 2nd, 2008 Waffcake

…Is it just me or did D. Gray-Man just end?

I was watching episode 103, and the ED played and I was like, “Okay, this is different…” and then it said Fin and I was like OMG WHAT THE FUX.

Well, there better be a sequel (the mangaaaaaaa… I READS IT), and it better cover from there on. I was really looking forward to long haired Allen, only to find they cut it off around FIVE CHAPTERS before it happened.

Fall 2008 Preview? Those are for wimps.

September 30th, 2008 Waffcake

Ahem. Yeeeah… I’m probably one of the last people to let out this list. Sigh. Is it just me, or do I really have to create a list of 35 anime, half of which I’m not even blogging? Or even checking out? More sigh. There’s a list after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
